Thumbs up to the St. Thomas University cross country team, which recently collected shoes for donation to young people living in Peru. That's a great cause.

Thumbs down to the mudslinging that has become a regular feature of our election campaigns.

Thumbs up to the Barkers Point Lions Club for assisting the city with its Vulnerable Citizens Registry. What a fantastic measure to ensure the safety of our residents. Prevention is always the best way to protect people from tragedy.
