Against Spread: Last Week: 6-10; Season: 97-93-2
Straight Up: Last Week: 8-8; Season: 115-76-1
Take Oakland plus 10 over San Diego
The spread reflects how these teams are supposed to be. Right now, they're closer than that. CHARGERS, 18-17

Against Spread: Last Week: 8-8; Season: 89-101-2
Straight Up: Last Week: 11-5; Straight Up: 122-69-1
Take Oakland plus 10 over San Diego
Renegades beat up divisional power broker Denver Broncos in their own yard no less two weeks ago, then come up lame against sad sack Kansas City Chiefs last week. Now they get to play another divisional foe in Lightning Bolts, more a fizzle job offensively in recent weeks. Hard to believe what was once NFL's most competitive division degenerating into perhaps its most laughable. Oddsmaker dictates the call in this one. Chargers, 20-14.

Against Spread: Last Week: 8-8; Season: 97-93-2
Straight Up: Last Week: 10-6; Season: 127-64-1
Take Oakland plus 10 over San Diego
First instinct is 10 points is an awful lot to be spotting San Diego. The Chargers haven't scored more than 20 points in a game since October and they're only one game ahead of the rival Raiders in the AFC West. Oakland has actually played well its last two road games, losing 17-15 at Miami and surprising Denver 31-10. San Diego still has a better offence, though, so "¦Chargers 24-17.
