Flub fest

I will be extraordinarily surprised if the Conservatives don’t form the next government and most likely a majority one. The election is shaping up as a clash not as much between two parties but between two leaders, Dion and Harper, with the other parties left to fight over the scraps that are left.

But if the Conservatives don’t win, they have no one to blame but themselves. Going on the attack after fathers who have lost their sons in war? Ordering police to keep the media away from a spot they have every right to be in? There have been apologies quickly to rectify the gaffes and that’s good, but if the Conservatives are taken down, it won’t be the Liberals who do it, it will be themselves.

What does Dion have to offer besides tax increases and program cuts? After the idiocy of the last few days I would still support Harper.
