Time for CBC to sack Heather Mallick
I was a bit surprised to see a massive spike in visitors over at my former blog 101 people who are screwing up Canada (and 10 who are not) today. Usually that means a prominent blog has linked it.
Not this time.
The spike was all people (mostly Americans) seeking out CBC’s Queen of Vitriol Heather Mallick who clocked in at lucky #13 on the list (screwing up Canada that is).
It all sparked from this column where Mallick went on what can only be described as a hateful tirade about Sarah Palin.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, disagree with whoever you want (and public figures are obviously fair game) but name calling and vitriol like Mallick dishes out on the taxpayer’s dime no less?
CBC’s investigating the complaints over the column which I suspect will sadly do nothing except continue to pay her to spew more venom.
