A Fredericton couple charged with the June 22 armed robbery of the Royal Road Petro-Canada station will be sentenced in provincial court today.

Michael Harbrink, 28, and Michelle Leah Marriott, 25, will appear at 10 a.m.

Marriott, who had originally pleaded not guilty to the charge, changed her plea during an appearance Thursday before Judge Graydon Nicholas.

Harbrink pleaded guilty to the offence Aug. 1.

Both have been in custody since June.

Prior to their arrest, the couple resided at 66 Hawkins St.

Both Harbrink and Marriott were ordered to undergo a 30-day psychiatric assessment in July.

An unreported amount of cash was taken during the June incident, but no one was hurt.
