Swine flu | 10 confirmed cases of flu to date in province, say health department officials

A1

Two Fredericton women have tested positive for the H1N1 influenza virus.

A woman in her 50s from the Fredericton area is the 10th person in the province to receive confirmation of the virus though laboratory testing.

Dr. Eilish Cleary, chief medical officer of health, said people should expect to see more cases since a lot of travel happens in the summer.

Cleary said residents should wash their hands thoroughly and cover their mouths when coughing or sneezing.

"We remind New Brunswickers to continue to use preventative measures to help reduce the spread of the flu," she said Tuesday.

None of New Brunswick's H1N1 cases have involved severe symptoms or health risks.

Meghan Cumby, a spokeswoman for the Department of Health, said the other local woman was part of four cases announced late last week.

She said details about those cases weren't immediately available to reporters, but she can now confirm that one of the four cases involved a woman in her 40s from the Fredericton area.

The other three cases involved a male under 19 years of age from the Bathurst area, and a male and female under 19 years of age in the Moncton area.

The Department of Health recommends that anyone who's experiencing flu-like symptoms should minimize their contact with people and should visit their family doctor, a walk-in clinic, or the nearest hospital if those symptoms persist or worsen.

More information is available at the province's 24-hour H1N1 hotline at 1-800-580-0038, or at www.gnb.ca/flu.

As I told you all last week that this was a man-made virus, today it has been revealed that I was correct. Adrian Gibbs, a research scientist from Australia who helped develop the drug Tamiflu, has gone public and said that this is the case.

Google Adrian Gibbs to see the 100 or hits on this.

He claims it was an accidental release so that is where I differ with him, but the fact remains this was created in a lab.

So to all that still believe that CNN, CBS, FOX, MSNBC, CTV, CBC report factual news...WAKE UP.

I told you a week ago and you ridiculed me. When you begin to realize that this is the eugenics at its finest, perpetrated by the NWO you may begin to wake from your fluoride-induced dream state.

PS VOR - this is no a mole hill. There are over 1 million infected Americans and it is a designer virus...designed to mutate, which has already been confirmed.

it would be nice if people were considerate enough to put travel plans on hold until this thing has subsided. why subject the rest of the population to this virus because you want a vacation???

Mr. Ape ... this guarantee from the dude who said gold bullion would be going up to $2,000/oz and silver to $300/oz. Well gold has gone down to $942.00 and silver to $13.00.
Maybe the term "Mad" refers to "crazy" !!!

Sandra B. Why in God's name should anyone cancel their travel plans or hide in their basement because of an overhyped media "crisis". Would you be suprised to know that 35,000 people die in the US every year from whatever flu virus is going around. Should civilization grind to a halt forever waiting a the current flu to subside? Thats just crazy. Millions of people have come in contact with the current flu and never even knew it. Their immune system knocked it down before the slightest symtem emerged. Many other got the sniffles and recovered. A handful got really sick and were hospitalized. Most of those recovered, sadly a few of those died. Just like every other flu. CNN desperately need a daily "crisis", so Wolf Blitzer will have something to blather about beside Britty Spears(if you recall, he was stuck with that "news" before the "black death"..oops, I mean flu story. Sandra, go out and enjoy your life. Who knows, you could be hit by an asteriod tomorrow, but dont sweat it.Cheers

Mad, do you not read the articles that you post? They totally discredit the conspiracy theories you thrive on. To quote the Bloomberg article:

“One of the simplest explanations is that it’s a laboratory escape,” Gibbs said in an interview with Bloomberg Television today. “But there are lots of others.” In other words, Gibbs is saying that the lab theory is just one of many possibilities.

"The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta has received the report and has decided there is no evidence to support Gibbs’s conclusion". Oh, but wait .... you're a conspiracy theorist, so the media can't be believed - that is, unless you think they back your claims.

More fluff and huff from the Ape.

Wayne Moores, I agree, we can't live in fear. And it's true, people come in contact daily with 'diseases' and strains that they aren't even aware that they've come in contact with.

So to all you non-believers here is the hard evidence that, not only is this a laboratory created virus, it was released into the population to fill the pockets of vaccine makers and further the agenda of eugenicists.

This link is to a 134 pdf document that has been filed with the FBI by Austrian Investigative Journalist Jane Bürgermeister as evidence in a criminal charges she had filed with respect to this event.

Wake up people!

Ape, that's not "hard evidence", and the blog writer who filed it was fired from her job for doing so. It seems that even her employer didn't think she had any credibility.

Wake up Ape. It's a nice 134 page fictional story but about the only fact in there is that they spelled WHO correctly.
