Hilda (Nelson) Chedore Moores Hilda (Nelson) Chedore Moores, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on October 28, 2009 at the age of 89. Prior to her retirement, Hilda was employed for 19 years at the Soldier's Memorial Hospital as a nursing assistant and lab technician in cardiology. She was a past member of the Salvation Army until its closure and was a member of the Restigouche Valley Church. Hilda was born in Shigawake, Quebec on April 20, 1920. Hilda was the daughter of Deborah (Robinson) and James Nelson. She leaves to mourn her sons Reggie Chedore (Susan) of Campbellton, Jack Chedore of Campbellton, and Bill Chedore (Terrie) of Hamilton. She also leaves her grandchildren Julie, Tammy (Tim Smith), Michael (Debbie), Ricky, Tanya (Charles Geraghty), great-grandchildren Randy, Kaitlyn, Michael, Stephen, Matthew, Joshua, James, Hannah and Noah. She is pre-deceased by her husbands, Raymond Chedore and Reginald Moores, her daughter-in-law Ann Chedore, her grandson Nathan Chedore, her sisters Edith Cochrane, Meta Roussie, Lillian Huntington, Edna Dobson and her brother Stuart Nelson. The funeral service was held from Maher's Funeral Chapel Campbellton on Saturday, October 31st at 2 pm. Reverend Joel Gagnon officiating. Interment at the Campbellton Rural Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Scott Chedore, Gary Chedore, Kenny Cochrane, Earl Hennessey, Charles Geraghty and Tim Smith. Honorary pallbearers were: Barry Cochrane and David Cochrane. Her family and friends will all know what we mean when we say "The Bakery is closed". Funeral arrangements were in the care of Maher's Funeral Home, Campbellton, NB.
