Harvey Station - The 34th annual Cornelius Craft Guild sale will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Harvey Recreation Centre from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. No admission.
Mactaquac - The annual Remembrance Day Service for the Parishes of Douglas and Bright and surrounding areas will be held at the cenotaph at York Centennial Park, Mactaquac, at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11. All organized groups that will be attending and marching are requested to assemble at 10 a.m. Following the service, there will be a social time and light refreshments at the Mactaquac Baptist Church gymnasium.
Maugerville - A turkey supper will be held at the Maugerville Community Centre on Nov. 8. There will be a 4:30 p.m. setting and a 5:30 p.m. setting. Adults $9, youths (5-12 years) $4 and preschool free. Sponsored by the Maugerville Women's Institute.
Millville - A Remembrance Day and church service will be held for Royal Canadian Legion branch 59, Millville, on Nov. 9 at 10:45 a.m. Lunch will follow and will be hosted by and at the Maple Ridge Wesleyan Church.
Millville - Remembrance Day parade, Nov. 11 will form up at Reid's Apartments at 10:30 a.m. Parade marches off to Veterans' Memorial Grounds at 10:45 a.m. Official ceremony will begin at 11 a.m., however, memorial readings will begin at 10:40 a.m. Entertainment from 2- 5 p.m. at Branch 59 and a potluck will follow.
New Maryland - The fifth annual In the country fall and Christmas craft sale will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 9, from 12 - 4 p.m. at the Victoria Hall, New Maryland.
