FUNDRAISER: nikhita Kujur was one of three women in a group doing a Bollywood-style indian dance at a fundraising variety show. Various groups showcased their talents to raise funds for former st. Thomas university graduate Kofi ampong. Kofi was the victim of a knife attack in Moncton.

The Elm Tree Square and Round Dance Club will hold its Valentine's Day dance, at the Liverpool Street School. New Brunswick Africans Association invites all African residents and students to attend a needs-assessment study and to celebrate Black History Month on Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at Centre Communautaire Sainte-Anne, 715 Priestman St. There will be African cuisine, music and dance, cultural performance and refreshments. No charge.
