Thumbs up to the Epsilon Y's Men's Club which is organizing a yard sale at the now closed Albert Street Middle School on Saturday. Desks, filing cabinets and more are going cheaply, which is an excellent way to recycling unused goods - and school memories.
Thumbs down to people who throw their lit cigarette butts out of their moving cars. A shower of sparks for the driver behind you, not to mention littering - a great combination.
Thumbs up to Karl Doestch of the Delta Fredericton, who won the nation's most prestigious award for front-line tourism employees. The senior banquet houseman won the Intercontinental Hotels Croup Employee of the Year award for his dedication to his role. Congratulations, Karl.
