Background: The Jonas brothers, who grew up in Wyckoff, New Jersey, are: Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15.

Albums: It's About Time (2006); Jonas Brothers (2007); A Little Bit Longer is scheduled for release Aug. 12.

Touring partners: The Jonas Brothers have opened up for Miley Cyrus and Avril Lavigne.

Early days: Nick Jonas was discovered when he was six years old and went on to perform on Broadway. He was eventually signed to a record label, but when an executive heard him singing with his brothers, they were signed as a trio.

Squeaky clean: All three brothers wear "purity rings," a symbol that they will remain pure until marriage.

Comparison: The brothers have been compared to Hanson, and there indeed similarities - three brothers who write their own songs and play their own instruments.

Romance: Nick has been linked to tween queen Cyrus, but has maintained they are just friends.
