Submissions to Religion Digest must be received by Monday noon for publication on Thursday. Items can be e-mailed to the editor, Forrest Orser, at religion@dailygleaner.com, or mailed to The Daily Gleaner, P.O. Box 3370, Fredericton, N.B., E3B 5A2, or dropped off in written form at the office on Prospect Street. Include your name and a telephone contact number. Each item will be run once. Items should not be longer than 50 words.

Healing ministry

The Order of St. Luke Healing Ministry's regular monthly meeting will be held on Thursday, Dec. 18, at 7:30 p.m. St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Forest Hill Rd.

Live From Bethlehem at Kingsley Baptist

Kingsley Baptist Church will presenting Live From Bethlehem with the Kingsley Kids and A Christmas Offering by the adult choir on Saturday, Dec. 20, and Sunday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m.

Musical at Marysville Baptist on Dec. 21

On Dec. 21 at 6:30 p.m. the ministries of music and worship of the Marysville Baptist Church, 150 Cowperthwaite St., will present the musical Welcome to Our World. Admission is free. For information please contact the church at 457-1006.

Integrity Fredericton to meet Dec. 21

Integrity Fredericton will meet Sunday, Dec. 21, at 4 p.m. in the Unitarian Fellowship Centre, 874 York St., for prayer, the sacrament, and fellowship. Integrity provides spiritual direction and fellowship via the Anglican tradition to non-heterosexual people and their friends, regardless of their church affiliation. Participation in Integrity is not indicative of sexual orientation.

First Wesleyan Singers holding concert

The Wonderful Story of Love will be presented by the First Wesleyan Singers on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m. at First Wesleyan Church, 131 Duncan Lane. It will involve 53 adults, 21 children and the orchestra.

The Ascensions

The Ascensions will be participating in the Christmas Sunday Night of Music at Sunset Church Dec. 21 at 6 p.m.

Christmas cantata

Children's concert

The children of Brunswick Street Baptist Church will present the Christmas pageant The Fumbly, Bumbly Angels on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 9:45 a.m.

Candlelight service

Brunswick Street Baptist Church's annual candlelight service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 6:30 p.m. The church's junior, sanctuary and JuBELLation Handbell choirs, soloists and instrumentalists will present the story of Christ's coming. The freewill offering will go to support the Fredericton Emergency Shelters.

Christmas Eve services

Marysville Baptist

On Dec. 24 at 6:30 p.m. Marysville Baptist Church, 150 Cowperthwaite St., will be hosting a Christmas Eve service featuring music and readings in anticipation of Christmas Day. Admission is free. For information please contact the church at 457-1006.

Grace Memorial Baptist

Grace Memorial Baptist Church will hold a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 7 p.m. There will be carols, message by the pastor, and closing with the singing of Silent Night and Let there Be Peace on Earth while holding lit candles. New Maryland United

On Christmas Eve the New Maryland United Church will have a family service at 7 p.m. and a candlelight communion service at 11 p.m.

St. Paul's United

St. Paul's United Church will have the following Christmas Eve services: 4 p.m., children's service; 7 p.m., family service; 11 p.m., candlelight service with holy communion and 12 midnight, hot apple cider on the church steps.

Forest Hill United

Christmas Eve worship will be celebrated at Forest Hill United Church on Kimble Court, off Forest Hill Road. Carol singing will begin at 6:45 p.m. while people gather. Starting at 7 p.m. the Christmas story will be told through word, song and scripture.

The Meeting Place
