The man who has been priest and rector of the Anglican Parish of Stanley for the past decade is moving to a new appointment in mid-year.
Rev. Dr. Ranall Ingalls has been appointed as the new priest and rector of Trinity Church in Saint John by Rt. Rev. Claude Miller, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Fredericton.
The appointment takes effect June 1.
Ingalls replaces Ven. Stuart Allan, who retired last year.

He was ordained deacon in 1990 and priest in 1991. After serving as assistant curate in the Parish of Derby and Blackville from 1990 to 1994, his first posting as rector was the Parish of Denmark, where he served from 1994 to 1999.
Ingalls has been rector of the Parish of Stanley since June 1999.
In recent years, Ingalls has also served as an assistant professor of philosophy at St. Thomas University.
