Submissions to Religion Digest must be received by Monday noon for publication on Thursday. Items can be e-mailed to the editor, Forrest Orser, at religion@dailygleaner.com, or mailed to The Daily Gleaner, P.O. Box 3370, Fredericton, N.B., E3B 5A2, or dropped off in written form at the office on Prospect Street. Include your name and a telephone contact number. Each item will be run once. Items should not be longer than 50 words.
Healing ministry
The Order of St. Luke healing ministry's regular monthly meeting will be held, Thursday, Feb. 19, at 7:30 p.m. St. Margaret's Anglican Church, Forest Hill Rd.
Seniors' PrimeTime
PrimeTime meeting for seniors will be held at the Church of the Nazarene, 307 Brookside Dr., on Feb. 19 at 2:30 p.m. Reid and Iva Merritt will entertain. Ross Ingam, from CJRI, will be guest speaker. All seniors 55 and up are welcomed. Pot Luck for refreshments will be served. For more information phone Joan or Fred Trites at 458-8696.
Sing-in planned for Feb. 21
A sing-in will be held at Temperance Vale Hall on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. There will be country and gospel music talent, including: Allison Inch, The Giggies, The Villageaires, Jim and Kim Hadley, Elmo Stairs, Noel Nason and Cora, Sandra Marr, Wyatt Morrell, John Stairs, Bob Johnson and Carol Henderson and the stage band.
Pork dinner at St. Margaret's Anglican
The ACW of St. Margaret's Anglican Church will hold a roast loin of pork dinner with all the fixings at the church, 775 Forest Hill Rd. on Saturday, Feb. 21, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets for adults are $10 and children ages 12 and under: $5. The tickets will be available at the door.
Pancake supper
The Anglican Parish of Bright, Hwy 104 Zealand, will be having its annual pancake supper on Feb. 21, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. with continuous seating. The cost is: adults, $8; children, $4. The menu will consist of pancakes, baked beans, sausage, eggs, brown bread, layer cakes, gingerbread with whipped cream and beverages
Rusagonis Baptist
Regional minister Rev. Jerry Horsman will be the guest speaker at the Sunday morning service at Rusagonis Baptist Church, 4 Whittaker Rd., commencing at 10:45 a.m.
Church of the
Nazarene on Feb. 22
On Sunday, Feb. 22, Rev. Clair Mullen will be speaker at the 11 a.m. service of the Fredericton Church of the Nazarene on Brookside Drive. Pianist will be Janette Mills.
Taize worship
A Taize worship will be held at Gaspereau Forks United Church on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. This candlelight service will be filled with quiet meditative music and features a time of silent reflection. Desert, coffee and tea will be served at 6 p.m. with a time of learning some new the choruses.
Shrove Tuesday
A Shrove Tuesday pancake supper will be held at St. Paul's United Church at the corner of York and George streets on Feb. 24 from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. The menu will consists of pancakes, sausages, beans, homemade brown bread, homemade apple and lemon pies and tea and coffee. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under.

On Shrove Tuesday, Feb. 24, a pancake supper will be held 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Wilmot United Church. Adults $5, children $3, family $15. On Ash Wednesday, Feb. 25, the Service of Ashes will be at 7 p.m.

St. John's Anglican Church, 75 Main St., will be having a pancake supper, Tuesday, Feb. 24, 4 to 6:30 p.m. The price will be $7 per person, $18 per family with children under 16. The menu will include pancakes, homemade baked beans, brown bread, sausages, gingerbread with whipped cream, plus layer cakes.

The Beaver Dam Guild of Holy Trinity Church, 1224, 101 Highway, Nasonworth will hold the annual pancake supper on Shrove Tuesday, Feb. 24, from 4 - 6 p.m. Menu will include pancakes, baked beans, sausage, brown bread, gingerbread with whipped cream. Price wil be adults, $6; children 6-12 years, $3; children under 6, free.

The ACW of St. John's and St. Luke's will be holding its annual pancake supper on Shrove Tuesday, Feb. 24, at St Luke's Anglican Church in Temperance Vale from 3:30 to 6 p.m. On the menu will be: beans, sausages, pancakes, pies, cakes and other desserts. All you can eat. The cost will be adults - $7; child under age 12 - $3; preschool - free; and a family rate of $18.

Luncheon bridge
