A Fredericton man who previously admitted to breaking into a northside school owned up to another such break-in Friday in provincial court.

Sean Cory Clendenning, 21, of no fixed address pleaded guilty Friday to breaking into Devon Middle School on Oct. 8.

He also admitted to other counts of obtaining taxi transportation under false pretenses, breach of probation and summary assault.

Clendenning previously pleaded guilty to an Oct. 7 break-in at South Devon Elementary School, for which he was sentenced to six months in jail.

Judge Mary Jane Richards sentenced Clendening to three months in jail for the second school break-in, but she ordered that the time could run concurrently to the time he's already serving.

However, she imposed an additional 40 days consecutive for the assault and probation violation.

Furthermore, the judge placed Clendenning on probation for 12 months. Among the conditions of his probation are that he's to pay $9.50 in restitution to the cabbie he stiffed on a fare.
