Celebration of Talent Concert: more than 65 Fredericton-area music students recently completed a mount Allison local centre music examination. All medalists were invited to perform one piece from their examination repertoire at the Celebration of talent Concert, which took place in the marjorie Young bell Conservatory of music, mount Allison university, Sackville. twenty-eight young musicians from across the maritimes gathered for this recital; performers included Fredericton students Courtney hillier, Érica Jomphe, bethany Ruth Steeves, martine Jomphe, Anna marie Steeves, Juliane bischoff and esther Adsett.

Fredericton Folks On Spokes, a bicycle group for ages 50 and up, plus visitors to the city, will leave from the Trail Visitor Centre on the north side of the Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge at 10 a.m. for a bicycle ride on the Valley Trail to the Bucket Club and further for those who wish a longer ride. Wear a bicycle helmet and bring drinking water.
