Speak Up

A presentation on the Second World War will be made at the Marysville Heritage Centre on Nov. 10 by Marc Milner, director of the Gregg Centre for the Study of War and Society at the University of New Brunswick.

Milner will be talking about Normandy and the D-Day landings - a story of the Canadian Forces and the Carleton and York and North Shore regiments. The program will include film clips, maps and commentaries.

The event, being presented by the Marysville Heritage Society, Fredericton North Heritage Association and the York Sunbury Historical Society, starts at 2 p.m.

The theme of the gathering is remembering our military past.
