November is Diabetes Month and that means fundraisers will be conducting a door-to-door canvass in Fredericton to raise money for the New Brunswick region.

City council has given its approval to the New Brunswick region of the national organization to contact citizens for donations.

Diabetes is the world's fourth leading cause of death and affects an estimated 246 million people.
