Provincial high school soccer champions

Provincial high school soccer champions: Winning the provincial varsity girls AAA high school soccer championship in Miramichi on the weekend were the Fredericton High School Black Kats, defeating Sussex Regional High 2-1 in the final. Members of the winning team include, front row, from left: Shannon McGeachy, Lyndsey Esson, Jamie Guislain, Sarah Myatt, Tonya Ellis, Emily Cronkhite and Leah White, back row, from left: Cara Nordstom (ass. coach), Olivia Babcock, Jamie Frampton, Maddy Adams, Rachelle Voisin, Yashna Hathi, Tsema Abek, Eden Vanderlaan, Emily Hazlett, Jenna Scott and Rochelle Baldwin (coach).
