Woman denies charges
An Oromocto woman accused of multiple thefts in Fredericton refuted several charges in provincial court Tuesday.
Miranda Leigh Saulis-Berube of 3 Sacobie Blvd. pleaded not guilty to June 6, June 8, July 30 and Aug. 10 thefts from the Atlantic Superstore, the northside Wal-Mart, the northside Canadian Tire and the Irving gas station on Main Street, respectively.
She also pleaded not guilty to a July 10 count of assaulting a female and an Aug. 25 count of failing to attend court.
Her trials will be held June 3.
Trial set for March
A Fredericton woman will stand trial next spring on a shoplifting charge.
Cynthia Grace Lee of 302 Saunders St., Apt. A, pleaded not guilty Tuesday in provincial court to a Sept. 15 charge of stealing merchandise from the Atlantic Superstore on Smythe Street.
Her trial was set for March 23.
