3 LOCAL CONTRIBUTORS: Three Fredericton-based volleyballers were part of the Moncton Grav-A-Tron team that captured the gold medal in the boys tier 4 division at the Canadian Under-18 volleyball championships held in Ottawa. The team defeated Halifax Lakers 25-20 and 25-23 in the tier 4 final. Making up the champion Grav-A-Tron were, front row, from left: Dave McConnell, Brett Lewis, Dylan Hollohan, Tom Goggin (Fredericton High School) and Stephane Fontaine (Ecole Sainte Anne), back row, from left: Wayne McConnell (coach), Jordan Gillis, Christien Savoie, Nic Comeau (Ecole Sainte Anne), Colin MacKenzie, Nathan Munroe, Tanner Sullivan and John Black (coach).
