Again Mercedes-Benz Canada reported its best October ever with a total of 1,990 Mercedes-Benz and smart combined units registered for the month. This is up 482 units or 32% compared to October 2007 and represents an increase of 33.1% year-to-date. For 2008, Mercedes has achieved sales of 20,563 unit's year-to-date which establishes a significant milestone for Mercedes-Benz Canada by clearly surpassing the 20,000 unit mark for the first time in the company's history.

For 2009 Mercedes-Benz continues the tradition of being a leading car company in the world market place. Three Mercedes-Benz Canada vehicles received awards at the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) annual Canadian Car of the Year "TestFest" in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON. After a week of intensive testing, it was announced that the Mercedes-Benz CL550 4MATIC and Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG tied for first place in the Best New Prestige Car category, and the Mercedes-Benz M-Class BlueTEC diesel was named Best New SUV / CUV (over $60k). The rest of the 2009 models will include our volume B Class, the new designed C Class and our legendary E Class.
